My entry for paigeeworld's OC contest. (That ended up winning the Grand Prize, to my surprise! : O )
This was an old composition I did in sophomore year of high school, but I wanted to redo it! I actually couldn't find the old picture in my sketchbooks so I had to go by memory, and therefore the only way it resembles the original is that Samos and Kai's positions were the same.
This piece made me realize how lacking my skill is with backgrounds... it's a little disheartening but at least I know what I need to work on!
I mostly just posted this beacause I just wanted to let the people of my contest know that I'm almost done with picking the winners, but the journal won't come out til tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!
